Amber Heard says she still loved Johnny Depp 'very much' despite claims he 'tried to kill her'

Amber Heard has claimed that she still "loved" her husband Johnny Depp "very much", despite alleging that the Hollywood superstar "tried to kill her".

The hugely-popular actor is in the middle of a court battle against his ex-wife, 36, following claims she made against him that he was abusive during their marriage, which lasted less than two years.

In 2017, Heard, who recently made a claim about why her ex-husband won't look at her in the courtroom, filed for divorce and also obtained a temporary restraining order after accusing Depp of hitting her.The actress later withdrew her claim, and the former couple agreed to a $7million divorce settlement in January 2017.

Heard's latest claims come in the middle of their highly-publicised court battle in the US state of Virginia. Being grilled by 58 year old Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez during cross-examination on the stand, Heard told the Fairfax County Courthouse how despite being "scared" of her ex husband, she had also "loved him very much".
