In court today (July 21), Amber Heard took the witness stand to speak during Johnny Depp‘s trial against a UK tabloid for calling him a “wife beater.” Johnny has continually denied these allegations, while Amber has alleged he abused her during their marriage.

At one point during her testimony, a private text message conversation between Elon Musk and Amber was read aloud to the courtroom. Elon and Amber previously dated after her relationship with Johnny ended, and he has been brought up during this trial before.

At one point, Elon sent her a text message saying he would “arrange 24/7 security for you.” “The offer would stand, even if you never wanted to see me again… anyway, sorry for being an idiot.
