John Christopher Depp II (born June 9, 1963) is an American actor, singer, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for ten Golden Globe Awards, winning one for Best Actor for his performance of the title role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008), and has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Actor, among other accolades. He is regarded as one of the world's biggest film stars. Depp made his film debut in the 1984 film A Nightmare on Elm Street, before rising to prominence as a teen idol on the television series 21 Jump Street (1987–1990). He had a supporting role in Oliver Stone's 1986 war film Platoon and played the title character in the 1990 romantic fantasy Edward Scissorhands.

Amber Heard Perjury Charges Dropped in Case of Importing Dogs Into Australia

Amber Heard will not face charges in her case regarding the import of her dogs into Australia. Australian authorities announced on Tuesday (August 22) that the 37-year-old Aquaman actress will not be charged with perjury relating to allegations that she lied about how her two Yorkshire terriers entered Australia in 2015. Keep reading to find out more… Amber did not declare that she was bringing the dogs, Pistol and Boo, into the country, which violated Australia’s quarantine regulations.

At the time, Amber was visiting then-husband Johnny Depp while he was filming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

After the dogs were discovered by authorities, Amber and Johnny issued a “government-imposed 50-hour deadline” to return the dogs to the United States or have them euthanized, according to the Associate Press.

In 2016, Amber pled guilty to providing a false immigration document and was sentenced to a one-month good behavior bond.
