A scathing, unsent email that was allegedly written by the Aquaman star in 2013 was read aloud in a UK court on Monday as part of the closing arguments for The Sun, who is being sued by the actor for dubbing him a “wife-beater” in a 2018 article.
We’ve already heard some shocking, embarrassing, and downright disturbing claims being made from both sides during this blockbuster trial, and the UK paper certainly saved the worst for last.
According to their lawyer, Sasha Wass, the email was drafted by Heard two years before her wedding to Depp, but she never ended up sending it.
