Love Island champion Amber Gill has hit out at fans comparing her to her former cast mate Molly-Mae Hague. Appearing on The Murad Merali Podcast, Amber, 24, called the comparisons “horrendous” and said “it’s very draining”.The Love Island star, who boasts 2.6 million followers on Instagram, complained it all stems from Molly-Mae having more followers, with a whopping 6.3 million.
Amber said: “It’s this whole thing of Instagram is life.” Comparisons between the two began in 2019, when, just four weeks after leaving the villa, Molly-Mae, 22, signed a £500,000 deal with PrettyLittleThing.
