Amazon has come under fire for selling a 'suicide manual' that a retired GP used to plan her own death. Mary Jones, 86, was discovered dead in her home after purchasing the book from Amazon's website.
Since her death on November 7, two separate coroners have written to Amazon expressing their concerns about the sale of the book.
However, the US-based company has declined to remove the manual - which we are not naming - and it can be delivered even faster through Amazon's Prime service.
The controversy surrounding the sale of the book came to light following Mary's death at her residence in Knutsford, Cheshire, last November.
