Those who use an Amazon Alexa with a basic Prime membership face huge changes which has left some subscribers furious with the tech giant.

Amazon Prime customers will now have to pay more money to request a specific song from Alexa. If they choose not to, customers will instead be treated to 'similar' songs.

They also only have six skips every hour, which means that they'll have to sit through songs that they don't like if the Amazon algorithm misjudges their tastes.

The change was introduced in the beginning of November. Previously, customers only needed basic Amazon Music which is included in Prime membership, costing £8.99 a month.
