EXCLUSIVE: Amazon MGM Studios has acquired Burn Night, a package from Safehouse Pictures’ Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell and writer Chris Sparling.
The project’s blurb: Seven years of the annual incident known as “Burn Night” have hardened the Lockhart family, but nothing’s prepared them for tonight.
Wings blot out the stars, fire rains from the sky, and something monstrous circles above. Trapped in their lakeside community, they hold fast to one another during their desperate fight to survive until sunrise.
The feature project falls under Safehouse Pictures’ first-look film deal with Amazon MGM Studios. Austin Bowman serves as director of development for the production company.
