Amazon MGM Studios Developing ‘Razzlekhan,’ Film On $3 Billion Crypto Theft From Hannah Marks; Lili Reinhart Among Producers

deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Amazon MGM Studios has launched development on Razzlekhan, a new film inspired by a 2022 article in the New York Times, which Hannah Marks (Don’t Make Me Go) will direct from her own script.
Pic is based on the true story of Ilya Lichtenstein and Heather Morgan, a millennial couple who stole over $3 billion in cryptocurrency before being caught by the Department of Justice.
The film takes its name from the rapper stage name of the latter, who alongside Lichtenstein, was charged by the FBI with conspiracy to launder the stolen bitcoin in February 2022.
Small Victory Productions’ Lili Reinhart and Catherine Hagedorn will produce, under their first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios.
