Amanda Kloots is backtracking her comments about her Dancing with the Stars partner Alan Bersten.

During a recent interview, the 42-year-old The Talk co-host looked back at working with the 30-year-old pro dancer, saying that he was “very mean” and “yelled” at her.

I love Alan Bersten very much! We became the best of friends during DWTS and still are today!” Amanda wrote along with a selfie with Alan. “We joked then and now about how tough he was on me but believe me I grew up in the ballet world knowing very tough teachers,” Amanda continued. “We also laughed a lot, cried, and built an incredible partnership in that time!” Amanda went on to thank Alan for helping her start dancing again following her husband Nick Cordero‘s death 2020 from COVID-19 complications. “Alan helped me tremendously with healing and grief and finding my love for dance again,” Amanda wrote. “I’m forever grateful for him.
