The youngster learnt to play Ed's songs on the guitar during lockdown to entertain his grandad - who was suffering from cancer but is now in remission - on Zoom.
Rafa and his grandad Norman were in the studio to talk about their story when Amanda and her co-host Jamie Theakston asked him to play on the show.
While playing and singing his favourite Ed track - Thinking Out Loud - Ed walked into the radio studio to join him for a duet.
