Amanda Holden has told Simon Cowell that “no one” can replace her on Britain’s Got Talent. The ITV talent competition returned to screens on Saturday evening after a two-year break and marked 10 years of the same judging panel of Amanda, 51, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

The mother of two has appeared on every series of BGT since it began in 2007 and has said “no one” could take her seat on the show if she was ill.

Amanda even appeared on the series just weeks after she nearly died in childbirth in 2012 and she is sure that Simon would show her the same loyalty.
