Amanda Holden the ‘next Cilla Black’ for new BBC dating show

Amanda Holden is being dubbed the next Cilla Black after being signed up by the BBC for a new dating show. The Britain’s Got Talent judge will reportedly be the presenter for a new series where single women try to find their perfect man.

Similar to Cilla Black’s iconic Blind Date the show is being described as being a tongue-in-cheek light entertainment show for all the family.

A source told the Daily Star: ‘Execs are thrilled to have Amanda on board’. The new dating show, if confirmed, will bring back fond memories for Amanda who made her TV debut as a hopeful on Blind Date aged 19.
