Amanda Holden has admitted that her daughter's interest in Love Island 'worries her slightly' as she explained she's 'not allowed' to go on the ITV show, on Friday.
The presenter, 51, revealed that the budding model, Lexi, 16, is 'obsessed' with the dating series but she has banned the teen from following in the footsteps of Micheal Owen's daughter, Gemma, 19.
Speaking to Jamie Theakston and Ashley Roberts on Heart FM, Amanda detailed: 'So this is becoming a bit of an obsession with my teenage daughter at home now. 'She added that Lexi had 'never taken one scrap of interest in Love Island and now is all over it,' due to this year's explosive events.
Amanda continued: 'Which worries me slightly bearing in mind that Michael Owen's daughter is on it, and I’m like, "you ain’t ever going on it, Alexa!"Co-host Jamie, teased: 'Oh please, it would be perfect for this show,' as he suggested that the model should take part in the future.
