Mother-of-five Shelley Humphries is only the second winner of the big money game, which was launched last year. This year’s competition started in March and allowed contestants to choose to either take the day’s prize money or put their hat in the ring for the final to win £1 million.
During a thrilling live finale, 38 hopeful listeners were in the running for serious cash, before being whittled down to nine, selected at random by a lottery machine.
