Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Lockdown is proving to be tough on many relationships, but for Amanda Holden, it’s only made her marriage spicier. The Britain’s Got Talent judge has revealed lockdown has improved her sex life with Chris Hughes, and more power to her.

The 49-year-old is isolating in her grand Surrey home with husband of 12 years Chris and their two daughters Alexa, 14, and Hollie, eight, and is rather enjoying her time at home.

Speaking to The Sun, Amanda said: ‘This whole thing has been great for my marriage. I know people are talking about it causing spikes in baby-making and divorce rates, but for us it has been brilliant. ‘I’m too old for more babies but our relationship is stronger than ever.
