Amanda Holden has admitted that spending £50,000 in a certain way could potentially cause some marital discord. Jason King, also known as JK, who is currently stepping in for regular host Jamie Theakston, asked Heart listeners how they would spend a tax-free £50k prize while promoting their "big-money game" Heart Show Me The Money.
The Britain's Got Talent judge revealed her plan to make a significant charitable donation with the winnings, telling JK about the 500 cats currently on a waiting list at Battersea Dogs and Cats home.
Amanda said: "Yesterday I was at Battersea Dogs and Cats home, I'm an ambassador for them and I have been for years and years. "Very sadly, my friend Jamie, who works down there, told me that they've got 500 cats on a waiting list at the moment to come in because there's been so many abandonments," reports the Mirror. "So I feel like I'd make a huge donation to anyone who's looking after animals who are struggling or suffering at the moment.
I don't mean to sound like I'm an angel but it just really struck me." Earlier this year, Amanda announced that she had welcomed a new pet rabbit into her family.
