Amanda Holden has admitted that spending £50,000 in a certain manner could potentially lead to significant issues in her home life.
While standing in for Jamie Theakston, Jason King, also known as JK, asked Heart listeners how they would spend a tax-free £50,000 prize during the promotion of their "big-money game" Heart Show Me The Money. The Britain's Got Talent judge expressed her desire to make a large charitable contribution with the winnings, telling JK about the 500 cats currently on a waiting list at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.Amanda said: "Yesterday I was at Battersea Dogs and Cats home, I'm an ambassador for them and I have been for years and years. "Very sadly, my friend Jamie, who works down there, told me that they've got 500 cats on a waiting list at the moment to come in because there's been so many abandonments," reports the Mirror. "So I feel like I'd make a huge donation to anyone who's looking after animals who are struggling or suffering at the moment.
I don't mean to sound like I'm an angel but it just really struck me."Earlier in the year, Amanda announced the addition of a new pet rabbit to her family, sharing the news on Instagram with an adorable video of the new furry member. The charity recognises the TV star as the loving owner of rescue dog Rudie and Muffy the cat.
Yet, co-host JK hinted that Amanda's support for the charity might extend beyond a mere financial gift. The television darling, after generously pledging £50,000, joked she'd happily house all 500 cats if it was up to him.
