A spokesperson for Strictly Come Dancing confirmed she had left with a statement that said: "Amanda Abbington is unable to continue in Strictly Come Dancing and has decided to withdraw from the competition. "The show wishes her all the best for the future." Amanda who was partnered with Giovanni Pernice, 33, pulled out of the last live show, due to a mystery 'medical reason'.
And her fiancé Jonathan Goodwin, a retired escapologist and daredevil who appeared on Britain's Got Talent in 2021, took to Instagram which appeared to allude to mental health.
