Amad proved Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag right vs Arsenal and Newcastle

"He has the X factor," Erik ten Hag said when asked why Amad was starting for Manchester United against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Ivorian was awarded his first competitive start in United colours in 887 days for the visit of the Gunners. His performance against the Londoners was then good enough to bag himself a second in the space of just four days when Newcastle United visited M16 on Wednesday night.

Amad marked the occasion with a goal and an assist to strengthen his case for starting the FA Cup final against Manchester City at Wembley next week.

He was excellent in all areas of his game, once again living up to the pre-Arsenal billing Ten Hag had given him.
