justjared.comWho’s The Boss is getting a revival series! Alyssa Milano and Tony Danza are set to reunite and star in a sequel series to the original 1980s show that they starred in as father and daughter duo Tony and Samantha Micelli.
Deadline reports that the sequel is in development at Sony Pictures Television and will take place 30 years after the original series.
The new show will now be about Samantha, who is a single mom living in the same house. The sire also reports that Judith Light and Danny Pintauro, who played Angela and Jonathan on the show, are supportive of the revival and there is hope that their characters could find a way to bring them back as well. Alyssa and Tony will also serve as executive producers, alongside Norman Lear.
