Alyssa Milano has apologized for asking for 'someone [to] please go check on Britney Spears in a tweet last month - after the singer branded the post 'bullying' on Tuesday.
The Toxic hitmaker, 41 — who recently received a welfare check from the police sparked by calls from concerned fans — took to her Instagram to call out the Charmed star, 50, for her 'bullying'. 'It saddens me to see things about me from people who don’t know me!!!
This definitely feels like a form of bullying!!!' the singer wrote underneath a screenshot of the original Tweet. 'Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down!!!' Spears added.
Alyssa's representative told TMZ the star 'reached out to Britney privately' on Wednesday - with the actress 'expressing support' for the singer in the message.
