Manchester United's Alvaro Fernandez could be the next academy product to break through to the first team. Fernandez, 18, joined United in the summer of 2020 from Real Madrid's academy on a four-year contract.
Fernandez was viewed by coaches as an exciting prospect for the future upon his arrival and he's now delivering on that promise at the club.
The youngster has made 23 appearances this season and he's become a key player in the Reds' academy. The Spaniard predominantly players at left-back and he's trained with United's first team on numerous occasions this term.
United gave Fernandez documentaries on the club and Manchester to ease his integration into life at United and it seems to have worked.
