The family of a holidaymaker who plunged to his death from a Corfu hotel balcony have led tributes to their loved-one. Stephen Willits suffered traumatic injuries when he fell to his death from the third-floor balcony.
The 45-year-old - who was 'heavily intoxicated' - had got engaged to his girlfriend just hours earlier and had been sharing the happy news with hotel guests as well as friends and family back in the UK.
Now an inquest has ruled that no-one will ever know how or why Stephen plunged to his death. Stephen, from Bentley Road, in Uttoxeter, had worked at Alton Towers for the past five years.
