The popular pundit was in the talKSPORT host's chair on Tuesday morning and high on the agenda was the Hoops' clash with Borussia Dortmund.
He was full of praise for Brendan Rodgers' team and said they 'have a chance' of an upset - but balanced that out with some fairly damning stats from their trips to Germany over the year.Celtic have never won a European game on German soil, losing nine of their last 11 trips there, and McCoist pointed that out in a discussion with Andy Townsend and Paul Lambert.
But it seems some Rangers fans misheard him as, later in the same segment, he was forced to clarify something. Gers famously beat Dortmund 4-2 at Westfalenstadion in the round of 32 on their way to the final in Seville.
