After months of teasing, Ariana Grande finally has a date for the deluxe version of her 2024 album eternal sunshine. Titled brighter days ahead, the project drops March 28, and will contain six new songs, as well as a completely new album cover of Grande levitating in the air.

In 2024 singer released the "slightly deluxe and also live" edition of the album which came with live renditions of several of the songs as well as remixes of "yes, and?" with Mariah Carey; "the boy is mine" with Brandy and Monica; "supernatural" with Troye Sivan; and the bonus track "ordinary things" with her nonna.

The live recordings were created with a 10-piece orchestral band. The singer previously suggested that she plans to focus on acting and musical theater, while putting her career as a pop star on the back burner. "I'm always going to make music, I'm always going to go on stage, I'm always going to do pop stuff, I pinky promise," she said on the Las Culturistas podcast in 2024. "But I don't think doing it at the rate I've been doing it for the past 10 years. [That] is where I see the next 10 years.".
