Meghan Trainor has opened up about how she conceived her second child - and the "science" she relied upon. The All About That Bass singer said that during the pandemic she and husband Daryl Sabara were trying unsuccessfully to conceive for months - before she read up on how pregnancy actually works.
After failing to get pregnant, they began using easily available conception monitoring strips - and it was this that finally helped her conceive son Riley, now two.
Meghan explained to ETCanada: “I learned about the science of how you ovulate, and it’s like one magic moment. So when you miss it that month, you’re like, ‘What’s wrong?
Why can’t I get pregnant?’ "You just miss that window of ovulation, so then I learnt and bought ovulation sticks, you could pee on those every day.” Meghan has now written a book about her experience, entitled Dear Future Mama: A TMI Guide to Pregnancy, Birth, and Motherhood from Your Bestie.
