Celtic have reportedly reached a "verbal agreement" to make Canadian World Cup star Alistair Johnston their second winter signing.
The Hoops have been working in the background on their January shopping plans and have already announced the signing of Japanese defender Yuki Kobayashi on a long-term deal from J-League side Vissel Kobe.
Right-back Johnston - who has also played at centre-back in his career - is the latest strongly linked with a move to Glasgow's east-end and reports have suggested that a deal is in the latter stages.
It's now claimed by trusted transfer guru Fabrizio Romano that the 24-year-old's current club Montreal have an agreement in place with the Premiership champions and are now waiting on the 'final details.
