The win secured a mammoth fourth round clash against Celtic later this month.Colombian striker Morelos was likely only going to be risked if the tie got hairy but there was no danger of that after a blistering first-half performance killed the game stone dead.Jermain Defoe opened the scoring followed by two Kemar Roofe strikes and the cherry on top from right-back Nathan Patterson.
Morelos meanwhile looked cosy up in the stands and clearly wanted to cut through the boredom by trying to wind up captain James Tavernier and substituted goalscorer Roofe.
