Alexandria comic book writer David Cranna is a step closer to publishing his first graphic novel, after a crowdfunding campaign smashed its target in under 13 hours.David, who combines writing comics with his day job as a restaurant manager, raised almost £4,500 to help fund Glasscity Comics – dark, gritty stories from a fictional city based on Glasgow.And the former Vale Academy pupil admitted that support for his work came as a shock.He told the Lennox: “It’s been unbelievable.
