An Alexandria author hopes his new book will help more people to get fit later in life - as well as raising a few laughs along the way.Paul Murdoch’s Old Bloke Goes Swimming is the sequel to Old Bloke Goes Running, which charted Paul’s adventures as he attempted to get healthier after hitting his 57th birthday “somewhere between fat and obese.”An injury forced Paul to hang up his trainers for more than six months, but inspired him to take up swimming - and pen his latest work.Paul, 60, explained: “After Old Bloke Goes Running I started doing a podcast called Old Bloke Goes… and then whatever I was doing.“I seemed to get a good reaction and a bit of a following on the podcast.
