Marilyn Monroe sporting her signature bouncy blonde waves in 1954.At the event Alexa Demie wore an off-the-shoulder corset in plush velvet and matching maxi skirt, souped up with Tiffany diamonds—a more classic choice than the fashion-forward Balenciaga gowns she’s worn of late.
Meanwhile, her elegant loose curls were reminiscent of ’s signature hairstyle. With the addition of Alexa’s trademark winged eyeliner, skinny brows, and dark lined lips—similar to the beauty look she chose for the Academy Museum Gala earlier this month—it all added up to an alternative (and very Halloween appropriate) homage to Hollywood’s most famous screen siren.
