Rangers prospect Alex Lowry has made his case for a first-team chance to new boss Michael Beale in training - at the expense of captain James Tavernier.
Lowry has been missing from action since August when he was was on the receiving end of a horrific challenge in the Rangers B-team's win over Dumbarton, making just one appearance under Gio van Bronckhorst so far this season.
However, he is not back to full fitness and is looking to make up for lost time following the arrival of Beale from QPR. Having mainly featured for the Lowland League outfit this term while Van Bronckhorst was at the club, Beale has thrown Lowry back into the first-team picture on his second as manager.
While being put through his paces in a passing drill, the 19-year-old was put under pressure by Tavernier at the Rangers Training Centre but he wouldn't be stopped.
