Alesha Dixon said being a mum has made her a "better person". The singer, 42, shares seven-year-old Azura and 19-month-old Anaya with her husband Azuka Onoye.
She admitted that having children changed her as she's now more mindful in anything she does. “Being a mum has made me a better person because I’m always mindful of my behaviour,” she revealed in an interview with The Mirror's magazine. “Obviously there is still a rebellious side in me and I’m young at heart, but for the most part I’m quite sensible.” Alesha added: “My children keep me grounded.
Everything I’m doing now is to make sure they have a great future and to protect them.” The former Mis-Teeq singer has been homeschooling Azura throughout the coronavirus lockdown.
