Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria has revealed that their young son Eduardo was rushed to hospital following a severe allergic reaction.Taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday, the 38 year old, who recently revealed the gender of her seventh child with her actor husband, spoke of the "scary experience" as she shared a snap of the youngster hooked up to monitors in the hospital ward. "Never a dull moment for us," Hilaria began. "Edu had a very bad allergic reaction today and I had to give him an epi-pen.

I've never had to administer it on my own…it was a scary experience. Revealing Eduardo was "ok now and home", the brunette went on stress the importance of having an epi-pen in the house as it's a "lifesaving tool".

Hilaria said: "He was in such distress and I believe it may have saved him today." "If your doctor thinks you should keep one at home, make sure you know how to use it in advance, because these reactions can come on so strongly and quickly." The mother of six said she wouldn't "bore" her followers with the story of "rushing him out the door" but was sure to thank the medical staff who helped her son.

Proving that all was well, Hilaria added: "Fortunately, when I took this photo, he was back to himself and kicking the phone out of my hand…I, on the other hand, was a spent wreck. "Love you all and be safe," she concluded.
