It’s not like we’re staging anything or faking,” he said, adding that they “have friends and go to play dates and this and that, but they would rather stay home with each other.”“They’re like a pack,” Alec continued, “they’re very close and they want to just be with each other, so this representation is pretty authentic about how we live our lives.”However, the “Beetlejuice” star didn’t shy away from the fact that “The Baldwins” began filming just one month before his involuntary manslaughter trial kicked off in New Mexico last July.Alec pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was accidentally shot and killed on the set of the movie “Rust” in October 2021.The case was ultimately dismissed with prejudice after it was found that prosecutors withheld evidence that could have helped Alec’s defense.
