Aldi has announced further price cuts for many of its products from this week. The budget supermarket chain said that nearly 50 products will see prices fall by an average of seven per cent.
Items affected include many staples such as cheese, butter, poultry as well as household essentials such as cleaning products.
It comes after the chain slashed the proce of more than 200 products over the past few months in a bid to help customers through the cost of living crisis.
Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, highlighted that the company "promises" to keep prices as low as possible.
