Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

A tip to decorate your home with a 20p Aldi product has upset some shoppers, who have found it 'insulting' and 'offensive'. While the country prepares for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, which is set to cost £millions, countless British families are struggling to heat their homes and put food on the table.

After it was announced that fuel prices are set to rise further in October earlier this week, people are scrimping even more, and are looking for cheap ways to celebrate the Jubilee without spending much of their hard-earned money.

In a bid to help people decorate their home on a budget, a tip suggesting that people cut up 20p Aldi bags and turn the Union Jack which features on them into bunting has been doing the rounds on social media. The idea didn't go down well with some people, who were, quite frankly, insulted by the suggestion of 20p bunting while millions are being spent on the Jubilee.
