Aldi's message to shoppers as £7.50 Christmas turkeys to go on sale next week

Aldi has told shoppers it is selling the 'cheapest' turkey in the UK this Christmas ahead of them going on sale next week. The budget supermarket giant said it is allowing shoppers to grab a hefty fresh turkey at just £3.75 per kg.

This means the Ashfields British Small Fresh Whole Turkey will be available for as low as £7.50. However, shoppers will have to wait for a bit longer as the turkeys will only be made available from Tuesday, December 19.

Aldi also claims to be the cheapest supermarket for frozen turkeys, offering a Large British Turkey Whole Bird for £2.78 per kg and a Medium British Turkey Whole Bird for £2.96 per kg which can currently be bought in-store. The Specially Selected Cairanne wine was reduced from £8.99 to £3.49 until December 17. Meanwhile, prices on other Christmas treats such as wine and food have seen similar price cuts as customers gather up the last of their Christmas prep.
