Aldi introduces new policy that affects all of its 900+ UK stores

Supermarket giant Aldi has announced a positive change that will impact every single one of its stores. The retailer has announced that managers will now be required to undergo new training that will transform its supermarket culture.

Aldi is enhancing its support for people experiencing menopause with the introduction of training for managers. The training will be facilitated by industry experts Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace, and will cover an array of aspects, including raising awareness of menopause and successfully supporting colleagues experiencing it.

Aldi’s managers will also learn about further adjustments that can be made to the workplace environment to make it more inclusive.

Last year, Aldi launched its menopause guides, which provided colleagues with access to support for a range of well-being needs, including menopause, and provided guidance for leaders to support their teams.
