direct to your inboxAldi has announced it will open a new store in Denton as it continues its expansion throughout Greater Manchester.It will also upgrade its existing store in Middleton.The two projects, costing a combined £2.5m, will create more than 150 jobs.Today (Monday) Aldi announced it would be splashing out on one new store in Denton and on upgrading its current store in Middleton.The projects are expected to be completed by the end of the year.Last summer Aldi announced it was looking for new 20 new store locations in Greater Manchester – including in Didsbury, Radcliffe and Stockport – as part of its longer-term expansion plans.Aldi is opening stores across the country at a rate of one each week and its ambition is to have 1,200.
