Albion Rovers boss Brian Reid hailed ‘new boy’ Jordan Morton after he bagged a stunning goal on his full debut for the club in their weekend win over Elgin City.Midfielder Morton has been with Cliftonhill club since pre-season, but budget constraints meant Rovers were unable to offer him a contract until last week, following the recent departures of ex-Hearts star Ryan Stevenson and defender Jamie McKernon.Morton had appeared on the bench for Reid’s side twice this season as a trialist and made a late cameo in last month’s 3-0 defeat to Kelty.However, he has finally put pen to paper on a deal until the end of the season and rewarded Rovers with the clinching goal after 80 minutes in the win over City, just five minutes after Callum Wilson
