Ireland AM presenter Alan Hughes, found himself getting emotional while speaking to much-loved chef Catherine Leyden during the morning show.
During their chat, Catherine admitted that she was finding it very difficult to leave the house among the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Ireland.
As well as this, Catherine also admitted that she didn’t want to end up being a burden on the struggling healthcare system. The famous chef began: ‘The main thing about the first one is that we had longer days and the sun was shining. ‘My neighbours have been very good, they come up and meet me outside the gate for a cup of coffee and a chat.’ ‘But these long dark nights and days are horrendous.
