Alan Carr ’s husband Paul Drayton is to undergo emergency surgery after doctors found a potentially fatal blood clot on his brain.

Paul, 50, who’s been married to Alan, 45, for four years, took to social media to share the news that he has to have two holes drilled into his skull in a bid to drain the clot.

Paul said about his upcoming surgery: “I have a chronic subdural hematoma. “They have to drill two small holes to drain it. Hopefully in the next few days.” He added that he will be offline "for a while” while he recovers from the operation.
