ok.co.ukComedian Alan Carr has revealed he was told to stay in a hotel on a recent trip to see his close friend Adele to celebrate her 33rd birthday in LA.The talk show host admitted on the latest episode of his podcast Alan’s Life’s A Beach that he was expecting to shack up in Adele’s multi-million pound home for her birthday bash but, it was suggested he stay at a nearby hotel – costing £200 a night.The 44 year old, who recently showed off his weight loss after taking up Adele’s diet, was left disappointed as he told guest host Olivia Cooke: “I was hoping to stay at Adele’s house, but she went ‘Why don’t you stay at this hotel?’” Despite being hailed as one of the city’s coolest hotspots, the Chatty Man admitted he wasn’t a fan of the West.
