As the final weeks of 2024 roll on, more and more critics and publications will release lists of the best films of the year.

But The Playlist missed covering one of the most anticipated annual lists when it hit social media last week: the Top 10 Films of 2024 for the esteemed French film magazine Cahiers du Cinema.
