Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress.
Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California and has a mixed ethnic heritage. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. She is an outspoken feminist and has addressed issues of gender inequality, and her lifestyle website The Tig featured a column profiling influential women. She represented international charity organizations and received recognition for her fashion and style, releasing a line of clothing in 2016.

metro.co.ukAkon has proved to be a man with a plan after unveiling the next steps for construction of his new city in Senegal, which has been compared to Black Panther’s fictional nation of Wakanda. The Locked Up singer secured $6bn (£4.4bn) funding for the new area, dubbed Akon City, in June and has now revealed what to expect from the ambitious project.
During a press conference on Monday, Akon explained that he wanted the city – which will be situated near Dakar – to be a ‘home back home’ for African-Americans and other black communities around the world. ‘The system back home treats them unfairly in so many different ways that you can never imagine.
