Ben Wilson says Airdrie won’t worry about Championship drop rivals and will only focus on getting themselves out of trouble.But the Northern Irish striker admits the next few months are pivotal for the Diamonds to pick up enough points that will take them out of the drop-zone.Wilson netted his 13th goal of the season on Saturday as Airdrie were held to a 2-2 draw at Morton, leaving them bottom of the table, 10 points behind Dunfermline, with a game in hand.Airdrie travel to fourth-placed Partick Thistle on Saturday and host Raith Rovers the following Tuesday, as they continue their bid to climb up the table.Having gone 19 league games without victory, Airdrie have bagged two wins and a draw in their last three.And 23-year-old Wilson said: “There have been improvements in the team since the start of the year.“We never really let our morale drop too much, though it’s obviously difficult, being on a run of defeats.“But I thought we’ve picked up a bit of form lately, we’re looking to continue that, and get ourselves out of the position that we’re in.“We can only control ourselves, so we’ll look to keep doing that.“Teams above us are focusing on themselves as well, so we’ll do whatever we can to try and get of this position that we’re in.”Wilson says the prospect of visiting Thistle and hosting Rovers isn’t daunting.“Every game I look forward to, and the boys as well,” said Wilson. “Saturday was a point in the right direction, so we’ll look to try and get all three next week.“It’s a big couple of months for us, now, so I’ll look to contribute in any way I can.”Airdrie’s top scorer Wilson burst onto the scene with six goals in his first four games since joining from Cliftonville in the summer.An 18-game draught followed,
