An air ambulance landed in Bolton on Sunday afternoon (October 2) amid reports of a stabbing. Emergency services swarmed to Longsight Park, in the Harwood area following the incident, at around 2.30pm.
There are unconfirmed reports of a male being 'stabbed' in an 'attempted carjacking' according to ward councillor Mudasir Dean, who is the cabinet member for safer communities and policing at Bolton council.
He added he did not believe the injuries to be serious. Police helicopters circled overhead around the area throughout Sunday afternoon.
It is not yet known if any arrests have been made in relation to the incident.
