Football agent Giulio Tedeschi has claimed there is a "concrete possibility" of Sofyan Amrabat returning to Manchester United this summer.

The Morocco international spent last season on loan at United, after joining on a season-long loan from Fiorentina. He made 30 appearances in all competitions and impressed during the 2-1 win against Manchester City in the FA Cup final back in May.

He returned to the Serie A after United refused to exercise the £16.8million purchase option in his contract. The Manchester Evening News understands that Amrabat is still under consideration as a possible midfield reinforcement for United if they come up short in their attempts to land Manuel Ugarte from PSG.

Ugarte is keen to make the switch and United will push ahead if a senior midfielder leaves this summer. Tedeschi believes the chances of Amrabat returning to United have improved because Erik ten Hag has stayed after a brief period of uncertainty following the end of last season. "Right now, in my opinion there is a concrete possibility of bringing Amrabat back to Manchester United," he told Italian outlet Firenze Viola.
